Hello and welcome! I'm Alison, the milliner behind Alison Mary Millinery. From my studio in Moortown Leeds, West Yorkshire I design and create hats and headpieces for weddings, race days and special occasions. With over twenty nine years experience as a professional milliner, every piece is made with care, combining traditional millinery techniques with a contemporary, wearable style. Whether you choose a made to order piece or commission something bespoke, you'll receive a personal, one-to-one service focused on creating a truly unique piece.

If you are looking for something truly individual, I offer a bespoke service tailored to your outfit, occasion and personal style.
From initial ideas through to the finished piece, I'll guide you through the process - discussing colours, shapes and details to create a design that feels completely right for you.
Consultations are available via Zoom, phone or email, making the process simple and enjoyable wherever you are based.
I welcome in person consultations, these are by appointment only.

Alongside my bridal and occasion millinery, I have created millinery and costume props for theatre, opera, ballet, museums and various other performances and projects over a twenty nine year career.
