HAT HIRE INFORMATION
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HIRING A HAT?
In this world of reuse, recycle and sustainability, it makes perfect sense to hire a hat if you just need it for a one off event. Hats can be a major investment and hiring means you can wear an amazing hat without having to spend lots of money on buying one. Hiring a hat helps the environment plus you can try out different styles with different outfits.
HOW DOES ALISON MARY MILLINERY HAT HIRE WORK?
Hiring a hat is very simple. Have a browse through the styles on the hat hire page. Once you have chosen the hat you would like to hire, click on the hat image and it will take you to a contact form. Fill in your details and I will reply to you asap. You then have a choice of trying on the hat at my studio in North Leeds, I can send you a swatch sample to make sure it colour matches your outfit or I can simply send you the hat (return postage is an added cost) The hat hire is for four days maximum but this can be flexible if the hat is being posted.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A HAT?
Hat hire charges range from £45.00 - £65.00 dependant on the type of hat. Each hat has its own hire price listed below the image. The hat hire is for a maximum of four days. Hats can be hired for longer but will incur an extra charge. If you would like your hat posted to you, the postal charges are an extra charge. In addition to the hat hire cost, there is a deposit for each hat which is refundable as long as the hat is returned in exactly the same condition (including hat boxes and packaging materials) This is to cover my costs should any damage occur to the hat or if the hat is returned late. The deposit will be refunded via the original payment method asap after I have received the hat back in its original condition with all of the original packing materials.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY HAT?
The hat should be stored in the hat box it came in. The hat should not get wet (please use an umbrella in case of rain as water will damage the hat) Please avoid spraying perfume or hairspray near the hat, please spray before putting the hat on. Any damage to the hat will make the refundable deposit void. Please see the terms and conditions page for further details.
